HOW TO PLAN A BEACH-THEMED WEDDING

Before you go ahead with all the planning, you should know the rules of the venue where you will be holding your celebration. This is
important so you would know ahead of time what you can put inside or outside the venue, whether you can post,paste or stick things on the wall
or on the trees, etc.

Know your concept
There are a lot of concepts to choose from which can help you in coming up with your design of the invitation, decoration or the over-all
celebration. The following are some of the options:

LUAU WEDDING-

A luau (in Hawaiian, lu‘au) is a Hawaiian feast. It may feature food, such as poi, kalua pig, poke, lomi salmon, opihi, haupia, and beer; and
entertainment, such as Hawaiian music and hula. Among people from Hawaii, the concepts of "luau" and "party" are often blended, resulting in
graduation luaus, wedding luaus, and birthday luaus.

Attire: encourage your guests to wear aloha outfits. Dress them up by greeting them with leis. you may also have attendants/ waiters to dress
up in grass skirts.

Decoration: fill buffet tables and table centerpieces with fresh pineapples or other tropical fruits and fully-bloom orchids and other fresh
bloom flowers.

Entertainment: Hire a reggae band, a hula instructor to entertain guests or if you're tight on budget, have a Hawaiian CD played on the
background

Give-aways: coconut shell or orchid candles would definitely remind them of their wonderful Hawaiian wedding experience

UNDER THE SEA WEDDING-

Bring back Nemo, Little Mermaid and the Lost City - the Atlantis...

Invitation: invitation that comes in a bottle full of sand would definitely give them an idea of what to expect

Attire: A mermaid wedding gown for the Bride, A suit for the groom and your guests attire would depend on how far you would want to make this
extravagant and formal

Decoration: Definitely, aquariums with live fish inside, sand and seashells of every form, size and shape and an underwater loocation is never
complete without a Dolphin (pictures and/or styro decor would do)

Entertainment: You may play the Little Mermaid CD, an instrumental music or an ocean breeze background, hire a band that can play songs from
stage plays

Give-aways: picture frames and candles made of Shells, sancastle miniature, dolphin or ship miniature

Menu: Go crazy with seafoods, sushi and seaweeds
