WEDDING REQUIREMENTS

Documents:
1. Baptismal Certificate (Newly issued) w/ "Marriage Purposes" Clauses
2. Confirmation Certificate (Newly issued)
3. Marriage License from the Civil Registrar
4. Parish Permit from the Parish of the Bride (if both are non-parishioners)
5. Pre-Cana Seminar Certificate
     PreCana Schedule:
     - every 2nd Sunday of the month
     - 12:00 NN registration
     - 1:00 - 5:00 P.M.
     - P100.00 fee for the couple

6. Results of Banns/ Tawag

PERSONAL ATTENDANCE:
1. Interview
2. Counseling
3. Briefing

WEDDING FEE: P 5,000.00

NEW WEDDING GUIDELINES

ENTOURAGE:
- No one who has not made his first communion can be part of the entourage
- Witnesses (sponsors) must be practicing Catholic.

LITURGY OF THE WORD:
- Only official lectors and psalmists are allowed to read the readings
- The lectors and psalmists are to wear prescribed robe.
- No commentators and commentaries are allowed.

THE RITE OF MARRIAGE:
- Couples are prohibited from composing their own vows.
- There is to be no unity candle or bible blessing or any other extraneous rites added.
- Yugal or the cord should not be made of coins or of rosaries.
- Coins should be loose and placed only in a pouch, not in cages.
- No music during rite of marriage.

MUSIC:
- Secular and popular music is not allowed during the liturgy and within the church.

PHOTOGRAPHERS AND VIDEOGRAPHERS:
- Photographers and videographers should keep to the side aisles, behind the pew line.
- They should be appropriately dressed and not move around during the liturgy.
- Wedding coordinators, photographers and videographers must be licensed by the Commission of Worship.

CONFETTI:
- The use of rice, birdseed, confetti, flowers and petals are forbidden.
- Releasing of doves, balloons, butterflies and bubbles is prohibited.
