WEDDING GUIDELINES AND REQUIREMENTS

1. The BOOKING(PALISTA) shall be made at least ONE (1) MONTH before the Date of the Wedding.  RESERVATION for the WEDDING DAY shall be done PERSONALLY and NOT by telephone, telegram, letter, and the like.  A fee of FIVE HUNDRED (P 500.00 Deposit) PESOS is required upon Registration; This deposit shall be FORFEITED in the Event of Cancellation or Postponement of the scheduled Wedding date.

WEDDING RATES: Weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays
a. Parishioner                                       -    P3,000.00
b. Non-Parishioner                              -    P3,500.00
c. One Party or Parties are Foreigners    -    P5,000.00
d. Penalty or Fine (Linakaran) for the Parish (50% for the Parish Arancel for Weddings celebrated outside the Parish)
    d.1. Parishioner                                            -    P1,500.00
    d.2. Parishioner Wedded to a Foreigner -    P2,500.00

2. The Required Age for the GROOM and the BRIDE is 18 years old; Below the Required Age, marriages may be solemnized with the permission from the Bishop.

3. DOCUMENTS TO BE PRESENTED:
a. Baptismal Certificate (Groom and Bride) issued within Six(6) months - FOR MARRIAGE PURPOSE
b. Confirmation Certificate (Groom and Bride) - FOR MARRIAGE PURPOSE
c. Marriage License or Civil Marriage Contract for Civilly Married Couples
d. Certificates of Attendance at a PRE-CANA SEMINAR (every 2nd Saturday of the month at P 100)
e. BANNS (TINAWAGAN) - Three (3) Consecutive Sundays
f. WRITTEN PERMIT to Marry from the Parish Priest of the Bride

4. The INTERVIEW by the Parish Priest or by his delegate is One (1) Week before the Wedding in order to avoid difficulty, inconvenience, or embarrassment.

5. MARRIAGE between Filipinos and Foreigners are referred to the Chancery Office (Patria de Cebu Bldg.) for proper disposition.

6. The WEDDING MASS will START even without either the Groom or the Bride after Fifteen (15) Minutes of the Scheduled Time for the Wedding have lapsed.

- Thou shall not be LATE - since you are the ONES who set the TIME, then you have no reason to be late.
- The Wedding Ceremonies (Wedding March, Wedding Mass and Picture Taking will be taken One(1) Hour and 30 Minutes Only; So if YOU are LATE, then you are shortening the time).

7. ONLY LITURGICAL SONGS ARE ALLOWED during the Mass and Marriage Ceremony; other songs may be sung before and / or after the Mass. Cassette and Minus One Tapes intended for accomplishment, background music, and / or solo can be used BEFORE and / or AFTER the Mass.

8. Photographers are expected to OBSERVE PROPER DECORUM AND CONDUCT during the Mass and Wedding Ceremony. The use of Video - Tape Recording is charged a fee of P300.00

9. The Contracting Parties are to provide themselves with the ARRHAE (13 Coins) the CORD and the VEIL.

10. Due to Altar Space Limitations, a maximum of Six (6) PAIRS of Principal Sponsors are allowed.

N.B. - The Parish reserves the Right to Reject Applications for Marriage if and when the Parties Concerned disagree with the above-mentioned Guidelines and Requirements. The above-mentioned requirements are to be fully accomplished and complied within One (1) Week before the Appointed day or Hour of the Wedding. FAILURE to do so will result in the Cancellation of the said Appointment.
